  தெய்வத்தைத் தொழாதவளாய்த் தன் கணவனைத் தெய்வம் என நினைத்து, அவனைத் தொழுது காலையில் துயில் எழுகின்றவள் பெய்யென்று சொல்ல மழை பெய்யும்.

  No God adoring, low she bends before her lord;
  Then rising, serves: the rain falls instant at her word!

  If she, who does not worship God, but who rising worships her husband, say, “let it rain,” it will rain.
